The mention of Thailand brings to mind extensive rice-fields and patches that form the key characteristic used to define the county owing to the fact that it’s the world’s largest rice-producer. Dubbed as a newly industrialized country due to rapid economic growth, Thailand has flourished owing to the firm policies that define the export as well as the tourism industry. A one thousand year long history has been incorporated with the ultra-modern society to make many people want to visit Thailand hence making the country one of the world’s most sought after travel destinations. Statistics produced in regards to Tourism show that, it (tourism), accounts for about six percent of the country’s economy, a feat many other countries are yet to even come close to.
