I am going to list some of the most popular and not so popular places for 18-30s. I start with the most popular, the clubbing capital of Europe:
Ibiza – Spain
Ibiza - One of the best clubbing destinations in Europe
Everyone in the UK whether they have visited or not knows that Ibiza is the clubbing capital of europe, if not the world. In Ibiza you will find the big name DJ’s playing live music in all of the best clubs, but for a price. All of the premium clubs will charge a fairly large entrance fee, expect to pay between €20 to €50 for entry depending on what events are taking place. Once you are in you will pay premium prices for drinks too. There are seven major clubs in Ibiza they are, Amnesia, Eden, DC10, Privilege, Space, Pacha and Es Paradis. My advice is if money isn’t an issue and you want to see your favourite DJ’s live then you must visit the clubbing capital of europe – Ibiza.
Magalluf – Majorca
Another hugely popular clubbing location and one of the best clubbing destinations in europe. The biggest most popular club in Magaluf is BCM Planet Dance, boasting 65,000W of music power combined with the best laser show in Europe. Like Ibiza you can expect to pay a premium to enter the big clubs but there are special deals such as the Magalluf club pass or MCP. The MCP allows you to pay a one off fee for access to 5 top clubs including, Boomerang, Bananas, Buffalos, Honeys and Tokie Joes. Laganas – Zante, Greece
Laganas is often an overlooked place when it comes to the best clubbing destinations in europe. Laganas provides just as good atmosphere as Ibiza when it comes to the clubbing scene, but on a smaller scale. Laganas is the perfect place for the budget clubber. If you don’t mind a 10 minute walk you can get some real bargains on accommodation. Alot of entry to the clubs in Laganas is free and all play the lastest music coming straight from Ibiza. It’s a good idea to start further into the town and work your way through the clubs until you reach the beach end. The best clubs in Laganas are Amnesia, Bad Boys Club, Aussies, Zeros, Rescue Club and a personal favourite Cherry Bay Beach bar – located on the beach.
Ayia Napa – Cyprus
Ayia Napa is known for it’s huge Garage scene. If you are into your Garage then this is your best clubbing destination in europe. Although big for it’s Garage scene, Ayia Napa still provides something for everyone’s music taste. For the Garage scene you will want to visit Club Mythology, Black and White and Gas Club. For Dance you have the Castle Club and Kool Club. House music you have Amnesia and P’zazz. If this gets too much then you have the 70′s bars Starsky and Hutch and Carwash.
Malia – Crete, Greece
Malia has a great clubbing scene for the budget clubber. Good deals on accomodation, at the door step to some of the best clubs in Europe. Alot of clubs are free entry and most will do deals on drinks with entry, mainly to keep you in their club. Don’t be sucked in to paying your way into an empty night club. Some recommended clubs to visit are Candy Club, Apollo, Corkers Club, Banana Club and Coyote Venue – just like the film.
